Liz Woodruff, LPC Associate

Hello, thank you for allowing me to introduce myself. I completed my undergraduate work in Psychology at Texas A&M University San Antonio and have a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary's University. Throughout my studies I was introduced to an approach to counseling that emphasizes compassion and servicing clients from all walks of life.

Growth is not linear; we are all emotional beings that are affected by everything around us. My training is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an approach that has provided me with an understanding of how our emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and environment affect our growth. My treatment experiences include working with adults, teenagers, and couples. Supporting clients through relationship stress, work related stress, moments of anxiety or depression has been a passion of mine. Life's challenges do not have to be faced alone. My goal is to create a space where clients can be their true self with no judgments or interferences as we walk through challenges together.

I was raised in Detroit, Michigan but over the last decade I have embraced Texas as my home. I share my world with my husband and our three children.
